Donations
TIA needs donations in four areas:
Funding - To continue the teaching of modern information and communications technology and providing our students with up to date course books in our institutions; operational expenses must be covered. CLICK HERE to donate.
Hardware - TIA receives computers and other technology assets being replaced and redeploys them into our institutions. Our minimum CPU standard is a Pentium 4 or equivalent. Monitors, servers, printers, hubs, routers, switches and other computer hardware are also needed. CLICK HERE to view minimal standards. EQUIPMENT DONATION FORM
Software and Educational Content - The ability of TIA to serve its students is enhanced through the aggregation and sharing of licensed software and educational content.
Excess Capacity or Other Donations - In some cases excess capacity may be a very way to make an in-kind donation to TIA.
-Perhaps your organization has excess building space.
-TIA might use that space, on a limited basis, until it is needed.
-Other examples of excess capacity include excess bandwidth, last-mile broadband connectivity and intellectual property that can assist TIA in achieving its mission. If you have something different in mind to contribute, please contact us.
Technology in Africa, inc. is a nonprofit corporation under the State of Texas and is waiting its status for the Internal Revenue Service. All contributions to the organization are tax-deductible to the extent provided by law.
